Until October, 2022, you had to get a referral from your doctor to see an audiologist, who would give you a hearing test and sell you hearing aids for around $3,000 each. Congress finally changed the law to allow over the counter hearing aids, so you can now buy them for a fraction of the price. Best Buy sells several different types of these hearing aids for mild to moderate hearing loss. I think my Lexie/Bose hearing aids are better than my old, expensive hearing aids.
