It would be very loud , I wouldn’t wear my hearing aides while hunting

Hearing aids can make loud sounds more comfortable, however the intensity of a gun shot is too high for hearing aids to reduce it to where it could potentially be perceived as comfortable or where it would be at a safe level to protect hearing. The only time a hearing aid could safely be used whilst shooting is when it is a non-noise generating gun.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In the instance where you are using loud firearms using hearing protection is still probably recommended. Keep in mind these hearing aids amplify sound and certain levels of treble and bass. Maybe take them off but still protect your hearing.
