“If you put this microwave in a box, what would be the depth you'd need for it to fit, including all protrusions on the front and back of the oven? I bought a freestanding shelf with no back and 2 front glass doors. I want to store this microwave there when not in use and would like to know the exact depth of it, including any protrusions on the back or front. I will need to close it behind the shelf doors when not in use.”

Since the LG - 0.7 cubic foot Compact Microwave, Model # LCS0712ST is a counter-top unit and is not designed to be installed in a box, we would not have any dimensions to give in that regard. However, we can provide you with it's exterior measurements which are given as: Exterior (WxHxD) 17 9/10" x 10 1/6" x 12 1/5". If it helps, the carton that the unit came in had the following dimensions even though those would include the protective styrofoam padding: 21 1/4" x 11 1/2" x 15 1/2"...^IFV
