“Is there a way to work around the "two-step Opening applied for safety" feature? We don't need this in our household and would rather disable it.”

• Hey there! Great question. The Child-resistant door lock is completely optional and can be toggled on/off by holding the STOP button for 3 seconds. • Yes, there is a screw on the side to disable with full instructions in the manual.
