• Thank you for your inquiry. The interior light on the LG 1.1 Cubic Foot Mid-Size Microwave in Stainless Steel, Model # LCS1112ST comes on when the door is opened and stays on while the door is open. When you close the door, the light turns off until you start to cook/heat something. The light will stay on for the duration of the selected time and when that ends, the light goes off. When you open the door, the light comes on again!...^IFV
