“control panel very difficult to read I just purchased the 1.1 microwave oven and am surprised to barely see the numbers and words on the control panel. They are very dark. Is there a grey piece of plastic over them that I am supposed to peel off? Thank you.”

I don't think so. That would be my only complaint it is too dark hard to read in low lighting
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't remember if there was a protective film over the control panel - but it is on the grayish side and difficult to read if it's placed in a dark corner. Regrettably, it's not a lit display.
