• The interior is a coated metal. Don't think I've ever seen a microwave with a ceramic interior.

• I'm not sure what it's made of but it is painted gray. Its nice because its easy to clean and doesn't look gross like most dirty microwaves but it is hard to see your food as it cooks. It's easy to overcook things until you know the amount of time it takes to cook frequently prepared foods.

• Yes, this model has a ceramic interior and the back wall is molded out so that you have clearance for the turntable.
