“How many inches clearance from walls and top cabinets? Wanting to put it in a microwave cubby and wanted to make sure toaster part does not get too hot. I would have a few inches clearance on each side and about 1inch above. (it's not a built in)”

Thank you for your inquiry. The LG - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Microwave, Model # LCSP1110ST is designed as a Counter top microwave so placing it in a microwave cubby is different and there aren't really any recommended clearances for that situation. Since the unit is designed as a counter top model, it is probably safe to assume that the sides do not get exceptionally hot (Safety concerns!) so having an inch clearance around the unit for airflow may suffice. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it recommends about a 3 inch clearance on both sides. For the top it doesn't matter because the microwave is on the top and the bottom is not very far from the counter it's just sits on its normal feet.
