• The LG 1.5 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave with Sensor Cooking and Smart Inverter - Stainless Steel Model # MSER1590S does not have a dedicated "Soften/Melt" function that can properly soften butter without melting it. You would have to use Power Level P10 to soften butter and cream cheese, or Power Level P20 to soften butter...^Ivan.
