QuestionDoes the microwave start cooking after entering a time then START?I'm looking for an easy-to-use replacement microwave for a neighbor and I want to make sure it operates the same as her old one. On this microwave, will it cook for ONE MINUTE if you enter 6-0-START or 1-0-0-START? Thanks.

(each as a separate function)Can you use the timer as a timer (for example to time the cooking of an item on the stove top) while also cooking in the microwave. In other words can the timer function as a timer at the same time the microwave is cooking? My current (and all previous microwaves I have owned) can. And this is a very helpful and important feature for me. I am looking to replace my current microwave (the magnetron is going out) and I want this feature. Please let me know. Thanks!

- Answer Yes, although the display shows the cooking time, not the timer on the display. Timer works in background
