“Can you utilize the timer at the same time you are cooking in the mircrowave I see LG answered for how many minutes, but never answered if you can use both functions at the same time. I currently have another LG microwave model and you can use both at the same time. Great feature. Looking to buy another LG, but this is an important function for me.”

• Yes you can set the timer, and cook at the same time. It doesn't show timer, but after I cooked timer is still counting down

• Yes, it does. This was not something I knew of when I purchased, but can vouch that you can use both the kitchen timer function and cook something at the same time and the counter continues in the background and resumes after cooking is complete.

• Not that have found yet. I suggest looking up the instruction booklet. The melt and soften buttons make up for it.
