“Is there suggested number of inches between the range cook top and the bottom of this microwave?”

• The required minimum installation spacing between the bottom of the LG LG - 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Stainless Steel, Model # LMV1683ST and the Counter top or Cooktop surface is actually given as the minimum spacing between the Cooktop or Counter top surface and the bottom of the upper cabinet that the microwave is to be installed under before installation and that is a minimum of 30". The microwave has a height of 16 7/16" so the minimum distance between the bottom of the microwave and the Cooktop surface after installation should be 13 9/16"...^IFV

• Mine is15 " above range top which seems to be a low average.
