QuestionI want to mount under a cabinet and above a stove. the exist microwave (GE) vents from the top but outward, you feel the air coming straight out. Can this unit do the same.? I've attached a picture of where the vent is.

- Answer It’s a standard 30” wide cut out, bottom of microwave 18” above stove top, although that can vary. Install manual is on the LG website.

QuestionIs the front of this unit magnetic? I bought an LG refrigerator and electric range, both in black fingerprint resistant stainless steel. The front of the refrigerator, surprisingly, is not magnetic at all, but the range is. Will this hold magnets?

- Answer In response to the answer given by Daphane, if you're from LG you should be able to answer this question with a simple yes or no. Asking if the Black Stainless Steel version is magnetic on the front is not a difficult question. I expect better from people who are supposed to be knowledgeable about the products they sell.

- Answer Well it’s a brushed stainless steel and it masks it pretty well but I don’t know if anything is completely print proof. If you have oily skin I think you will see some remnants of your print but I am very happy with it. It has a nice and bright finish and works very well.

- Answer The only way you can get it light up is to buy a different brand. LG removed the backlighting and makes this unit very difficult to use. All LG's photos and spec. sheet for the model show beautifully illuminated keypads. LG supplies a dark keypad.

QuestionI understand the Less & More buttons are 10 second increments, but the manual doesn't say if More works by itself as an express. If you press it when microwave is NOT running, will cooking start immed. for 10 seconds? (I heat cat food for seconds)

- Answer I can answer my own question now since I bought it and an actual answer here could help others... NO, the '+more' button does not work if press it when microwave is not running (unlike '+30 sec' which does), so this button does not work as an express 10-20 second heat. Missed opportunity IMO.

QuestionHow many fan speeds? The specs say three but the button has hi, low and off. Same as 1.7 cu ft model that admits it only has two fan speeds.
