I believe the weight was between 40-50 pounds, I want to say around 48. I would not recommend attempting to install it alone. It may be possible to install alone if someone were rather strong and experienced with microwave installs, but I wouldn't try it as I imagine you might increase the risks of injuring the unit or yourself. I had no prior experience. I installed it with a family member and was very thankful that I had the assistance, particularly for getting it set on the wall support, which you need to do at an angle before you tilt it back, thread the power cord through the cabinet hole, and put the screws in the top.
