• The openings on the top of the LG 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner, Model # LW6017R should not be covered up or obstructed in any way. The internal components are shielded from inclement weather but if you are concerned about rain getting into the unit you can put an awning over the air conditioner...^IFV
