“Purchased the LG 2.0 40 watt sound bar today! Installation was a snap, and is perfect for our bed room! My question is this : Can the cable remote which is linked to our new Samsung TV , also be linked to the LG sound bar ? Is there a code?”

• I don’t know what I did, but sound bar linked up with my Samsung tv and remote by itself, I think when I changed speakers in the audio menu, using the optical cord.

• The remote control of the SK1 can control your TV's power as well as the volume. It cannot change the channel however. Your TV's remote control may be able to control the volume of the soundbar as described on page 17 of the owner's manual https://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-SK1#manuals ^CP
