Q: Questionwill the volume button on my directv remote, control this unit?(2 answers)
A: AnswerYes, it does! It's what I use to control it. The Directv remote allows me to control the power & volume not the other features of the soundbar. For example, input, bass boost etc... One word of caution, like the soundbar my TV is an LG. So they are compatible using the LG's "Simpilink" feature. Therefore, I am not sure if the Directv remote will work seamlessly when you are mixing manufacturers. Sorry, I know its not a definitive answer but I hope this helps! - AZ_TechAnswered by AZTech
Q: QuestionDoes this sound bar work on Toshiba TV(2 answers)
A: AnswerThe LG - 2.0-Channel Soundbar with 40-Watt Digital Amplifier - Black, Model # SK1 supports Bluetooth® Connectivity so if your TV supports Bluetooth®, you can pair it with the Soundbar to stream audio wirelessly. The Soundbar also has an Optical Digital Audio Input on it so if your TV does not support Bluetooth® but has an Optical Digital Audio Output on it, then you can connect the ports with an optical (Toslink) cable. If the TV only has the older Analog RCA Stereo Audio Outputs (Red/White barrel ports) on it, you can connect those to the AUX IN (3.5 mm) port on the Soundbar with a stereo to mini stereo RCA cable. ^CPAnswered by LG Digital Customer Care

Perfect for an office
Good sound bar for the price. Everyone knows flat screen speakers are terrible which almost forces you to buy a sound bar. I paired this one with a 32” tv in the office and it works perfectly. There is no sub so it’s not going to blow the doors off but definite improvement from the tv speakers. Great for office or anywhere where premium sound is not needed.

LG 2.0 Soundbar
It is the right size sound bar to add to a 43" flat screen television. I would have liked it better if it was slightly shorter in height so it would fit directly beneath the television instead behind. I was a little surprised that it didn't fit directly beneath since both the Soundbar and television are LG products.
