This system has two pre-set surround sound fields. You can select a desired sound mode by using each sound mode button. Standard for optimized sound and Bass Blast reinforces the bass and powerful sound. ^Daphane
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I may be able to answer one of the two questions. My television, an LG UHD 43", was synchronized with the LG soundbar. I was alble to use my remote to control the soundbar volume. The sound is much better than the 20 watts speakers included. There was an issue mating with my satellite receiver. The model was not listed in the audio section of the settings tab. There is a "bass blast" feature on the remote, but I was unable to use it and control the volume with soundbar remote. If hearing is a problem, you will find the best benefit of using the soundbar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a "Bass Blast" option that can be turned on or off but it can't be fine tuned. I've only used it for movies and a Nintendo Switch but the extra bass is only slightly noticeable.
