Try unplugging it for a little while, and if that doesn’t work return it.

Mine is on always on when the TV is on. When the TV is off just my red light is on but it doesn't just come on all the time. I don't know what is wrong but you might try you tube or call LG customer service. Sorry I couldn't help.
