Hopefully this will save you from buying this microwave. It has a child-proof lock on it - so that you need to press a button on the side of the unit to open the door. It's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I bought this to replace another unit that died but needed one with similar (large) capacity and was reasonably priced.
