“I have SK5Y and Spk8-S, wonder DTS VX sounds so bad WITH THE Rear speakers. SK5Y alone sounds far way better in DTS VX mode, but once connected to rear speakers (SPK8-S) then the directions of the sounds all mixed up. Is it only me feeling this way?”

I have the same combination and it sounds great. The only thing I would suggest would be to double check that the clear wire and the black stripe wire are hooked up at the correct terminals at the receiver and each speaker. Also, both sets of wires should be wrapped around the ferrite block twice, close to the receiver.
