• Yes you can use an hdmi cord or it comes with another cord that goes in the digital output plug

• Hi, if you want the highest quality sound to be output by your soundbar, it is recommended to use an HDMI cable over ARC if your TV supports it. Otherwise, you could use a Digital optical cable or 3.5mm AUX cable.
