• I had the same problem, though it wasn't the fault of the remote. Having no experience hooking up a soundbar myself, I first placed it speakers down, which will keep the remote signal from reaching the "eye". After looking at the picture on the box, I put the speakers facing the front! Problem solved! It's hard to see the speakers under certain lighting conditions. Try it.
