“I heard there is an issue were it keeps searching for sub woofer ..and needs to be updated on line. Reason I heard is that it keeps searching for the extra speakers that you can also add to it. I do not want to go into all that. is this one updated/fixed?”

I am answering my own question to help anyone out after speaking with LG..any models dated 7/17 and up have already been updated is what I was told..its near the serial numbers..just got home from buying one myself..good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is only my second day with it but it recognized the subwoofer and the rear speaker hub with no issues right out of the box. I've had no issues so far.
