“Is the power cord in the center back cut out by where the HDMI & optical ports are? Or is it on the back of one of the ends of the bar. The location of power cord makes a difference for my current set up.”

The power cord in the center back cut out by where the HDMI & optical ports are on the S40T soundbar is slightly to the right of the center when facing the back of the soundbar. This positioning is consistent with the general layout of the back of the soundbar, where the power cord input is located in close proximity to the HDMI and optical ports.
