“Have audio lag with this newly installed soundbar system. We turned off internal tv speakers (also an LG) to get rid of the echo sound. Could that be the problem? Help, please, we are hook-up neophytes and need detailed suggestions. Many thanks!”

Audio lag seems to be normal and sadly accepted by some members of society today. If you are using the optical cable, try using the 3.5mm analog cable. If it lags with either, and TV doesn't have adjustments for audio sync'ing, then its time to return the audio bar or toss it in the trash. Its like watching ol' kungfu movies where the lips and voice never quite match. Lame and unacceptable!
