• If the TV has an optical output on the back (check your TV and manual) yes. Roku has nothing to do with it. this is for sound enhancement only. whatever is coming from the speakers will be enhanced...

• Yes it will. Ignoring the fact that they are both LG products created to be compatible with each other, I have an older TV (50" 2011 Panasonic Plasma) that it works perfectly with. Set up was a breeze and I was surprised at the sound never having owned a sound bar system before. Enjoy!
