• Only if your amplifier has an optical output. If you only have RCA output, you should get an RCA output to optical input adapter. (RCA to optical ouput adapter)

• Yes. I have mine connected to my AmazonFire TV (which is my receiver in essence). As long as your receiver has an Optical Digital Audio port (output) OR is Bluetooth enabled it's really easy!

• You'll need an optical output to send the soundbar. If your receiver has that, then sure, it will work..... Would be better though, coming from the TV if your are watch it.
