• Yes the sub-woofer has a power cord (that's the only cord / cable it has - it's integrated with the soundbar via Bluetooth). There is a separate volume control on the provided remote for the sub-woofer (and another control on the same remote for the soundbar).

• The subwoofer has its own volume control on the remote . It's self powered and activated via Bluetooth

• You can adjust the bass level from the remote control. Just bought this soundbar system a couple of weeks ago and love it.
