Next using regular tv remote go the tv settings, sound and turn the Tv speakers off, this will deactivate your pre-built in tv speakers. Return to Regular tv. Next manually turn on sound bar, once on using regular tv remote turn the volume all the way down. From this point the sound bar should be set to match the volume bar on the screen. To insure that the sound bar matches and turns on and off with the tv make sure the front of the bar is not blocked by anything. Original remote must point directly at sound bar, this will insure best volume control.
