• No. You only get dots on inputs. I have the LG sync feature through optical and no volume meter shows there either. Very disappointing.

• correction: the red color is standby. when the bar powers on or switches functions, the white color shows which function is being used. after a few seconds of being powered on the function light indicator stops glowing, leaving no lights shown for a clean look while viewing.

• theres a lcd screen. a red light illumiinates when any command is sent to the bar. a white "dot" indicator tells u which function is being used

• There are LED lights but that is about it. The volume level should be displayed on the TV.
