to do that you'll need to use the remote that fails to turn up your volume sadly.... BUT, to do it you'll have to - Press the button that looks like volume notches (UNDER THE "SOUND EFFECTS" BUTTON) - Press the button until you see the letters WF, ironically at that point you would adjust the volume of the woofer using the volume buttons... good luck
