• Yes.... Bass is omni dirrectional which means it can be placed and heard anywhere in room

• The sound bar is not wireless, needs to be plugged into the tv. And yes, you can lay the sub woofer on it side. I did..

• Yes the Sub can be placed on its side and it is WIRELESS.

• It's wireless but not designed to lay on its side. It won't necessarily damage it, but you may not achieve superior sound. Also, it may rattle more since there are no "feet" on its side for support or sound absorption.

• Woofer is wireless to the bar, however you still need power. and you can lay the woofer on its side.
