I place my bar below the tv on another shelf and the subwoofer behind the sound bar. Works just fine for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can place the woofer anywhere you want as long as you have power nearby, I usually always put my woofers on the floor. The soundbar itself can be mounted anywhere as well, but typically your limited with the length of cables provided. (optical cable only).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as your TV sit high enough you should be fine. The subwoofer can go anywhere you'd like it too. I use to put mine on the side of the TV Stand but I do not have the outlets for it so mine is currently sitting on the side of the couch and may get moved behind it soon.

Since the sound bar replaces the speakers you aren't covering anything up by placing it directly in front of your TV. Because bass sound waves are longer than treble waves it is harder to tell where they come from. So a subwoofer can be placed pretty much anywhere convenient, as long as it doesn't fire directly into a surface, especially a soft surface. Also don't block the port (the hole) either. One caveat, subwoofers shouldn't be placed too far from the bar, or there could be less latency (delay) and more opportunity for Bluetooth dropout. BTW; Wired subwoofers are sometimes better than Bluetooth. Bluetooth is cool and convenient but there is absolutely no latency or dropout with a wired bass speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will most likely need to put the tv on some simple blocks to raise it up enough so that the sound bar does not block the screen. I found some simple wooden boxes at a craft store and painted them black and you can't even see them or tell. 6X6 for the box is the minimum size to fit the feet of the tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but your TV needs to be on a small stand or something like the cable box. Without that, it would block the TV. I have the Woofer on the floor near our TV cabinet -- works fine.
