The WM1388HW has to be plugged into it's own individual 120 VAC, 60 Hz grounded outlet. Its' matching Dryer, the LG 4.2 cu. ft. Electric Ventless Dryer in White, Model # DLEC855W also has to be plugged into it's own individual outlet rated at 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes. DO NOT CONNECT DRYER TO 110-, 115-, OR 120-VOLT CIRCUIT. You will need to purchase either a 3-wire or 4-wire U.L. listed No. 10 (copper wire only) conductor power supply cord kit rated 240 Volts (minimum) 30 Amperes and labeled as suitable for use in a clothes dryer. Check with your local building codes or local regulations on which one you will need or you can ask your building inspector as to which one is the correct one to use. ^CP
