“My LMHM2017ST has stopped working. Will LHM2237ST fit and the same cavity without modifying it? Are the dimensiosns the same? Do I need to order any extra parts or accesories?”

Yes. I made the same upgrade and depth of the microwave makes it sits out a little more from the cabinet than the previous model. The width is the same.

The LMHM2017ST has the following dimensions: (WxHxD) 21 3/4" x 10 5/8" x 14 5/8". The dimensions are not the same, however, the LMHM2237ST does come with the mounting hardware required for installation.
