Yes, the 2.3 cu.ft. 14-Cycle Front-Loading Compact Washer and 7-Cycle Electric Dryer Combo, Model # WM3488HW has an internal heating element but is still has to be connected to a hot and cold water supply. The hot water temperature for your water heater should be set at 120 – 135°F (48-57°C) and the cold at 60°F(15°C). The internal heating element is just for boosting the hot water for the extra hot settings...^IFV
