“I asked what type of plug the unit uses and got a tirade completely over my head! If someone could please answer the question in layman words, I would greatly appreciate it!! I read other’s comments that mentioned a normal plug.”

If you have/had a washing machine already where you plan to put this machine, you would plug this into the 110v outlet the old washing machine was plugged into. It has a three prong outlet just like what is on most modern electronics.
