It dose t go buy gallons what it does it goes by weight of clothes which is very good . It just knows how much to use in different ciycles it’s a new way of washing clothes which is very good in a lot of different ways. You have to learn the proper way of using it .its new tech and at first I really didn’t under stand the way it washed but now I do love the machine I think you would too once you understand the way to wash. I have to say it dose take longer to wash and dry your clothes so keep that in mind when you use it.
