the water temperature will not affect the drying as the washer spins quite a long time before it goes to the drying cycle

All-in-one Graphite Steel Front Load Electric Washer and Ventless Dryer Combo, Model # WM3499HVA has a hot and cold water inlet valve in the back, each of which have to be appropriately connected to your hot and cold water faucets. The connectors on the hot and cold water inlet hoses are standard 3/4" connectors. The drain hose should be between 1 and 1 1/2" wide and a gooseneck at the end of the drain hose slips into the top of a drain standpipe and is secured inside the standpipe by a hose clamp.
