You can select a wash cycle alone. For instance I select a speed wash which takes 34 minutes and 44 minutes for heavy soil. When that is done I select the energy saver dry cycle which takes a little over one hour, it saves time instead of choosing the wash and dry cycle.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No because it uses a lot less power while drying. Probably uses less than 1kw or less using a 120v outlet whereas a conventional drier using a 240v outlet can use 3-5 kw of power. Also that cycle includes wash time. In general 1 hr wash and 1 hr drying is about equivalent to a conventional drier. Maybe slightly longer to dry , but not 3 to 5 times longer
