It does not use refrigeration to condense the water. It uses a heat exchanger (think like a car radiator) to condense the water out of the air in the dryer. It passes cold water, from the water inlet, through the exchanger and blows the hot moist air from the dryer across the heat exchanger. As the hot moist air crosses the cold exchanger, the moisture condenses onto the exchanger like how water condenses on a cold glass of water. This water is collected as it drips off and is pumped out of the machine through the drain hose.
