- Answer I didn't want an ice maker either. We have two kitchens and bought two of these LG 20 cubic ft refrigerators. Didn't hook up the ice makers on either one and just removed the tray. It was a compromise. . . but the refrigerator is the best one I've ever had. You won't be disappointed.

- Answer So far I've been using glass cleaner, but it's only been fingerprints that I've had to clean off. They do recommend using a wax such as automobile wax twice a year to make cleaning easier.

- Answer They go off after about 10 seconds, and they kind of drive me nuts when I'm putting my groceries away. It's not really a big deal and the alarms would really come in handy if you accidentally left the door ajar.
