They have not. I would NEVER buy any LG product again after our experience with our french door $3,000 LG refrigerator we purchased two year ago. As with many other reviewers here, the cooling stopped about six weeks ago after two years of service. We have called a local serviceman, who diagnosed a bad compressor. Since LG has five year warranty for parts and service for the compressor, we called their customer service number. They have issued repair authorization number, promising we'll get a call back in couple of days. Nobody called. We called them again; they issued 'CNN', saying they are still locating someone to fix the problem. After three weeks and many calls from us to them (and many new CNN numbers), they said the local service is not willing to repair it, which was not true, since we have verified with the local service, claiming LG is not willing to pay for the warranty repair (this was not their first case either). Another call followed, where we have requested a refrigerator replacement. The answer from LG was they needed an approval from management, that takes 2-4 weeks. After six weeks without a refrigerator, we are still waiting for their call and any action to get their issue fixed. This is the worst experience we've had with any appliance company.
