• A:Answer NO!! I purchased a French door refrigerator in November 2020 deliver and in stalled January 2021 and it stopped cooling 2 weeks later repair man said it was the compressor. My refrigerator was manufactured in July 2020. Still waiting on repairs.

Q: QuestionCan the sensitivity of the instaview function be changed?

• A:Answer you can disable the sensor all together by removing the small plastic cover on top of the door and unplugging the sensor connector. The plastic cover has the letters "NEXT 1DID" written on it, you will need to remove 1 screw and pop the cover off. Then there are 3 connectors behind it, unplug the one with 5 wires connected to it. You will know if you unplug the right one if you knock on the fridge and the light does not come on anymore. Everything else will still work fine except the sound sensor will no longer turn the fridge light on.

Q: QuestionWe've owned this fridge for over 2 months and the water/ice still taste like plastic despite constant use/flushing. Our tap water does not have the taste - what can we do to fix this? Filter was installed brand new with fridge as well. Thank you!

• A:Answer I bought LG refrigerator 2015. Since then, I had to replace its 'ice maker', 'compressor' and 'motherboard'. Last time when its motherboard was replaced, it stopped running within 2 hours after the replacement. LG technician mad a FAKE REPORT saying that it stopped running due to an electrical issue with our outlet. What a ridiculous made-up story!! Now, LG Service is telling me that I need to pay for the repair after they FAILED to repair in a timely manner with its 30-day warranty! After dealing with LG Customer Service and a lousy technician with bad attitudes, I'll never buy LG product in my life!!

If it did have an Air Filter, page 38 in your owner's manual would have instructions for how to remove the Air Filter to replace it along with the instructions for replacing the water filter...^IFV

The recommended installation clearance spacing for the back is 2" and it is 1" for the top. With the doors open 90˚, the refrigerator has a width of 44 5/16" which means that for the doors to open, you will need a clearance of 4 7/32" either side for the doors...^IFV
