- Answer For model LSXC22396S the freezer compartment is on the left. You'll just pull the door handle to open. The section on the bottom right is an extension of the refrigerator. ^Daphane

- Answer I bought LG refrigerator 2015. Since then, I had to replace its 'ice maker', 'compressor' and 'motherboard'. Last time when its motherboard was replaced, it stopped running within 2 hours after the replacement. LG technician mad a FAKE REPORT saying that it stopped running due to an electrical issue with our outlet. What a ridiculous made-up story!! Now, LG Service is telling me that I need to pay for the repair after they FAILED to repair in a timely manner with its 30-day warranty! After dealing with LG Customer Service and a lousy technician with bad attitudes, I'll never buy LG product in my life!!

- Answer I changed my filter by clearing off the top shelf, putting a towel over it to collect any drips and then just opening the little cover door for the filter and carefully unscrewing it and installing the new one. The filter opening closes itself when You unscrew the filter and reopens itself when the new filter is screwed back into the opening. Pretty simple.

- Answer Don't think I can answer this question specifically, but we bought the unit in November last year and have never come close to running out of ice. We use a lot of ice per day for two people. I'm going to estimate we use 6-8 cubes per time and probably use the ice dispenser 8-10 time per day each. So I'm guessing we probably use 150 cubes per day and the ice unit is always full. I would then estimate it makes at least 6 cubes per hour

- Answer New standards on appliance efficiency almost require the computer (main board) decides when, how long & how often to defrost modern fridges. Tracks door opening & compressor cycles. But can't track humidity, drain icing or door seals. Any and all of these things cause frost build up. Thanks Obama's EPA. Only least expensive smaller basic fridges have mechanical defrost if any do in 2021
