French Door Refrigerator, Model # LFCS22520S comes with a Limited Manufacturer's Warranty of 1 Year Parts and Labor, 5 Years on the Sealed System (Parts & Labor), 5 Years on the Compressor (Parts & Labor), 6-10 Years on Linear Compressor (Parts Only)...^IFV

I know nothing about refrigerators. Is the "linear" compressor the same thing as the compressor?
