• The only plastic film that we experienced was the protective covering that was on it when it was shipped. Make sure that all the plastic is removed, may not be the easiest task.

• The plastic film is just for shipping. It’s supposed to be removed after install. The stainless has a coating to reduce showing fingerprints.
