“Is there a way to completely turn off the refrigerator/freezer for an extended period of time? If no, I plan to get an extension cord that will allow me to turn off the power to the refrigerator/freezer, if that's okay.”

• The unit has a Display/Demo mode that turns off all cooling but the lights work.

• Sabbath Mode is used on the Jewish Sabbath and holidays. Sabbath mode automatically turns off after 96 hours. The dispenser disabled in Sabbath Mode. Do not use an adapter plug or plug the power plug into a multi-outlet extension cord. ^Daphane
