“Does the ice maker use filtered water to make ice cubes?”

This question is for: LG - 22.7 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water

It has a filter that you will need to change every 3-6 months, so the water and ice are filtered by the fridge. If you already filter your water the filter can be bypassed
